Listen/Écoute publishes articles and reports that cover
issues relevant to hearing health. Listen/Écoute considers original articles, book reviews,
letters to the editor, and so on. All articles will be considered
for publication; however, the editor and editorial review
board reserve the right to reject unsuitable material.
Authors
must disclose any commercial interest in the article as
well as the source of any support. A covering letter should
state that the work is original and should include an address
for correspondence, as well as phone and fax numbers and
an e-mail address to ensure rapid processing. After acceptance,
the author(s) must sign a copyright transfer agreement.
Authors
are required to submit a short biographical paragraph and
a short abstract with each article.
Authors
are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted
material from other sources and for ensuring the accuracy
of all the information included in the article(s) submitted.
The
publication reserves the right to edit manuscripts for clarity
and length and to ensure conformity with Listen/Écoute's style.

Manuscripts
should be double-spaced and no longer than 1,500 words.
All manuscripts must be submitted electronically in a standard
text form, that is, Word, tst, rtf, or Word Perfect.
Tables
and Illustrations
Tables,
figures, charts, boxes, and equations should be submitted
as a separate file, not embedded in the text, and should
contain a legend at the top of each submission. All print-ready
photos are to be submitted separately in an acceptable electronic
format at a minimum of 300 dpi. Acceptable formats include
.eps, tif, or high-resolution .jpg.
Permissions
Written
permission must be obtained by the author to reproduce copyrighted
material; this includes tables, figures, and quoted text
that exceeds 150 words. Signed release forms are required
for photographs of identifiable persons. A copy of all permissions
and release forms must accompany the manuscript.
