Kaz Aigami, president of Kenwood Corporation in Japan, and Junji Kobayashi,

president of Kenwood USA, are pleased to announce the appointment of Robert

Harvey as President of Kenwood Electronics Canada Inc.

For the past eight years, Mr. Harvey has been General Manager, Communications

Division, served on the company's executive committee and participated in the

action planning at Kenwood USA. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Harvey was the

National Sales Manager, Communications. Prior to joining Kenwood, Mr. Harvey

held various senior management positions both in Canada and in the United States.

Mr. Harvey has more than 30 years experience in the electronics business including

the audio, radio communications, professional, and commercial sound markets.

In addition to his newly appointed role of overseeing all company operations in

Canada, Mr. Harvey will serve on the Board of Directors, and as an Officer at

Kenwood Electronics Canada Inc.
